Got the oxtail and beef patties and was extremely impressed. Flavour was extremely authentic and would highly recommend this restaurant! Friendly but slightly slow service at the time I went (late afternoon after work) but it was all worth the wait!
Was recommended to try this restaurant by a friend, glad we did. Had the ox tail and jerk chicken with bammy and plantains. Wife had the snapper fish with rice. Delicious! Too bad this place is over 8 hours away from where I live!
Food always taste good. Service needs work. The woman was very rude. When I walked in I was not greeted for a few minutes. I had to yell out “hello” to the back and all she said was it’s coming. I waited an extra 10 mins for my food. When it was brought out to me I was barely acknowledged with a mere glance and handed the food and received no response when I said thank you. To be spending over 80 dollars and have that poor of interaction with staff is a bit disappointing.
What a great place for some of the best food. We stopped for some jerk chicken and added a combo with jerked pork. Food, service, and people were outstanding. Definitely will be stopping to try more items on their menu.
Came here on a weekday night and ordered take out. Very friendly chef! I ordered the cow foot meal, and my partner ordered the jerk chicken meal, and we got a patty and a bammy and a cornmeal pudding. The patty was delicious! The dough was a bit flakey and the filling was nicely spiced. The bammy was also very yummy, like a thinner fried cassava cake. The cow foot was curried and very flavourful. I've eaten several different animal's feet, and these were a bit of a stretch for me. I'd never had cow feet before, but I would order a meat dish next time, but I'm very glad I tried it. My partner said the jerk chicken had more than a mild amount of spice, which she enjoyed. The chicken was juicy and not too saucy. The rice and beans were delicious, especially with the sauce in the dish. The cornmeal pudding was yummy, we thought a bit dry, but maybe that's just the way it's supposed to be, never had before. The cake was firm like a Christmas pudding, and it was flavoured with some warming spices which were very nice. The icing was like a coconut icing from an oatmeal cake. Portions were massive. Price for all we ordered was around $70 before tip. Great value in my opinion. We will be back!

It was absolutely delicious! I do notice some seasonings missing from when I was in Jamaica. Don't be afraid to add some flavor to the rice and peas! Jerk chicken was JUICY, lil spice (but I love spicy food so what people find spicy, I don't) beautiful taste yum! I originally went for the calliloo. Wasn't expecting salt fish with it but pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back again!
